French Letter Society

The French Letter Society (FLS) is a collective publishing initiative that offers a platform to emerging artists and writers. By producing book objects that disrupt the traditional form and authority of the book, FLS deconstructs preconceived notions about print. Each French Letter combines an original poem and visual art insert, in numbered literary letterpress chapbooks – 100 copies of six titles, in printed envelopes, in 2024.

FLS 2024

Spring titles include poetry for the prototype by FLS editor Beatriz Hausner, with Stephen Cain, and Sonia Greckol, and image series by FLS creative director and designer, Deborah Barnett, Jesse Graham, and N. Moskwa.

Fall releases also include three French Letters, featuring texts by Agata Mociani, and rob mclennan, and Mari-Lou Rowley, with image sets by Deborah Barnett, Luciana Erregue, and Roberto Marra.

These French Letters make great gifts for book and print aficionados! To purchase one Letter, check out discounts for the full 2024 bundle, and secure your copy of the very limited edition, deluxe parchment-sheathed Collection, click on the links below.
