Little Letterpress Series

A series of design and fine print explorations where digital and letterpress combine to produce unique publications. The Little Letterpress series is designed and letterpress printed by Deborah Barnett in Toronto. The series editor is Beatriz Hausner.

Original texts and images are juxtaposed in each Little Letterpress chapbook, produced in editions of 52 copies on acid free paper. 








Little Letterpress #1 The inaugural edition of Little Letterpress from Someone Editions features Jay MillAr's Another Poem About Time Written at the Outset of Middle Age with images by Natalia Moskwa. The chapbook series is designed and letterpress printed by Deborah Barnett in Toronto. The series editor is Beatriz Hausner. The exclusive edition is printed on Canal paper from LaPapeterie St Armand in Quebec, with image output in 12 inkjet colours, 52 copies, handsewn, signed and numbered. 








Little Letterpress #2 Second in the Little Letterpress series, Luciano Iacobelli's Noctograms reaches us by way of intimate often intense, expertly crafted language and meaning interplay. His poetry in eight carefully sequenced, letterpress pages are presented on vintage deckle-edged Strathmore Fiesta. Design and frontispiece art by designer and image maker Deborah Barnett pay tribute to Luciano's long history of managing words as a writer, a prolific publisher and an image maker in his own right.
